Concorde Investment Services Announces Two New Additions to Expanding Team of Industry Leading Professionals

Seasoned veteran Lori Kamen joins as Chief Compliance Officer and Melissa Shrimpton named operations manager            

LIVONIA, Mich., Jan. 6, 2020—Concorde Holdings, a nationally recognized private firm offering a full spectrum of services and support for financial professionals through its three lines of business (Concorde Investment Services, Concorde Asset Management and Concorde Insurance Agency), announced the addition of Lori Kamen as chief compliance officer and Melissa Shrimpton as operations manager for Concorde Investment Services. Concorde Holdings President and CEO Jason Kavanaugh made the announcement.

Kamen brings over 20 years of valuable work experience to Concorde. In past roles, she has operated as an assistant vice president for the Securities Service Network (SSN) and SSN Advisory, Inc (SSNAI), and has serviced a variety of broker-dealers and investment advisors in senior compliance positions. As CCO at Concorde, Kamen is responsible for ensuring the organization meets regulatory requirements and enforces internal policies and procedure.

Kamen earned her bachelor’s degree in politics with a minor in interpersonal communication from Ithaca College. She has completed several securities examinations, obtaining licenses in Series 4, 7, 24, 53 and 63.

Shrimpton offers 13 years of experience in the financial industry, as a licensed sales and operations professional, and a fully licensed financial consultant. She has worked with investors and broker-dealers in both the private and public REIT industry. As the director of investor relations at Bluerock Real Estate, LLC, Shrimpton orchestrated 1031 exchanges, preferred stock offerings and real estate investment transactions.
